The Fall Photography Workshop was a big success, thanks to everyone who attended!
Although we didn't get to have the planned outdoor photo session due to rain, we talked much about major areas of portrait photography. We discussed the different qualities of light and how the direction of light affects the image. We covered some classic portrait lighting patterns, and finding/recognizing beautiful light for portraiture in our daily environment. It was a very short 2 hours, but I hope that everyone got a few tips and tricks which will enhance their photos of family and friends, this holiday season. And, I hope to see some of those beautiful photos from all who attended :)
A special thanks to Andreea for assisting and to the kind staff of the Fairfax Regional Library for providing us with a nice meeting space. Thank you!
